RosUpack 2014: the latest products and trends on the packaging market
The 19th International exhibition for the packaging industry RosUpack will take place in Moscow from the 17th to 20th June at the Crocus Expo International Exhibition Centre. The exhibition is the largest event in the industry in Russia, the CIS and Eastern Europe. The organiser of the event is International Exhibition Company MVK part of the ITE Group, the leader of the Russian market of exhibition services.
RosUpack is the only exhibition in Russia that reflects the full packaging production process. The event has been rated as the best exhibition in the country on the subject of packaging and labelling in the All-Russian Rating of Exhibitions compiled by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation and the Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs in every category: exhibition area, professional interest, international recognition and market coverage.
The high level at which the event is run and organised and the constantly growing interest in the exhibition from industry professionals show the relevance and importance of the event. Every year, the exhibition gathers the leaders of the packaging industry on one platform. More than 21 000 specialists from different industries, including food production and processing, chemicals and cosmetics, medicine and pharmaceuticals, as well as warehousing and logistics visit RosUpack to find effective ways to reach their business objectives.
This year, the exhibition will be located in the four halls of Pavilion 1 of IEC "Crocus Expo", and will include an open air display of forklifts, warehouse racks and storage systems. As always, a wide range of packaging and labelling equipment, bottling lines, marking and corking equipment, modern packaging materials, pre-printed labels and packaging from paper, plastic, glass and metal, warehouse equipment and raw materials for the production of packaging and many other products will be presented.
More than 600 companies from 38 countries, including Austria, Great Britain, Germany, Italy, Finland, Switzerland, USA, Japan, France and Belgium will display their packaging solutions. Exhibitors will include Begarat Vertriebs-und Service GmbH, ISHIDA EUROPE, Upakovochnye resheniya (Packaging Solutions), Multivac Rus, Notis, Mondi, DANAFLEX, GOTEK, Eksimpak-Rotoprint, Mir Upakovki (Packaging World) and many others. The work of Italian companies at the exhibition will be organised by Ucima (Italian Packaging Machinery Manufacturing Association) together with Ice-Agenzia (Italian Trade Agency).
More than 60 companies will be exhibiting for the first time. Debut exhibitors will include well known and respected companies, as well as new entrants into the market, including DNP IMS Netherlands BV, PANKABOARD OY, Kamyshin Glass Container Plant JSC, ROBOTECH, Selenginsky TsKK JSC and many others.
Mondi, the international packaging and paper Group, will act as General Sponsor of RosUpack 2014. "RosUpack is the main packaging exhibition in Russia. Business Programme
The exhibition presents a substantial business programme every year, which is formed in close cooperation with professional associations and industry media.
One of the important events at the exhibition will be the international scientific conference on "The packaging market in Russia. Challenges and opportunities", organised by the National Packaging Confederation with the support of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation and a number of industry unions. Conference participants will include representatives of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia, Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, Federal Anti monopoly Service, All-Russian Non-Governmental Organization of Small and Medium-Sized Businesses Opora Russia, ROMIR, Association of Retail Companies, independent retail chains, leading producers of packaging materials and equipment, industrial unions of companies that use packaging and technical committees from the Federal Agency for Technical Regulation and Metrology.
A conference for specialists interested in warehouse management systems will take place on 18th June, organised by MMG-Holding (Skladskoy Kompleks magazine) TosaF Plastic, who are the official representatives of one of the largest producers of pigments for plastics will hold an open conference on the subject.
The industry conference on "Solutions for packaging process automation" will take place at RosUpack on the 19th of June, providing specialists with the opportunity to discuss Russian and foreign solutions for packaging process automation, review new products in the industry and find out about the latest achievements in the use of existing solutions. The seminar on "Domestically produced equipment and software for flexography" organised by "Kursiv", a respected industry journal, will take place on the same day.
CBS-System will hold a seminar on industrial IT solutions for the optimisation of all business processes. The seminar programme is based on successul practical examples of the activities of food production enterprises.
The PART Awards (Packaging, Art, Research, Technology) for the best packaging will take place at RosUpack again this year. Pre-made packaging and labels will be accepted for the competition this year. There will be two award categories - "Producer of the Year" and "Student Concept".
