On 18 June the opening ceremony of the 18th International exhibition of packaging industry took place. RosUpack is held for many years and has become the main platform for demonstrating packaging market trends in Russia and Eastern Europe.

During the opening ceremony the following honourable guests addressed their welcoming speech to the exhibitors and visitors: V.A. Chuikov, President of the National Packaging Confederation (NCPack); A.G. Boiko, General Director of the National Packaging Confederation (NCPack); Thomas Schneider, President of the World Packaging Organization (WPO); Dr. Holgar Colley, Counselor for Economic and Commercial Affairs of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Russia; A.N. Sheremet, Vice Rector for Development of Moscow State Print University named after Ivan Fedorov; I.V. Stepanian, Director of the Moscow Publishing and Printing College named after Ivan Fedorov; O.V. Kovardakov, Head of Group of companies Repropark — General sponsor of RosUpack 2013.

Attendees of the opening ceremony wished visitors and exhibitors fruitful work and efficient negotiations.

The exhibition will run till 21 June.
